Hi there, my name is Samantha Greyvenstein, or Sammy for short. I am a mother of two beautiful very active children.
I have been a Dietitian for nearly seven years, working within a hospital setting. In these years I developed a passion for internal medicine which included the nutritional management of people with Diabetes Mellitus, Liver impairments, Renal impairments, HIV/AIDS and TB, Respiratory impairments (the list goes on and on…).
In 2017 I was able to obtain my Master’s in Dietetics through the North West University of Potchefstroom. I must admit I am a bit academically orientated, can’t leave the study books alone. Currently I am studying to become a South African Certified Lactation Consultant (SACLC) due to my passion for breastfeeding and belief that mothers are not always well supported to be able to breastfeed efficiently.
